PLDT Inc. on Friday issued an advisory saying subscribers in northern Metro Manila and Bulacan may experience slow internet connection caused by a cut in its fiber optic cable.
In its advisory as of 8:30 a.m., PLDT said some of its customers in parts of Quezon City, Caloocan, and Bulacan may experience slower internet services.
This is “due to a fiber cable cut in the area caused by construction works by another telecommunications company,” PLDT said.
The telco said the estimated time of restoration is at 12 p.m., Friday.
“We will provide more details as they come. Thank you for your patience,” it said. —Ted Cordero/KBK, GMA News
