Local lenders are set to close on Tuesday, February 1, in celebration of the Chinese New Year holiday, but select branches will remain open to serve their clients.
Below is a list of banks that have so far announced their schedules:
BDO Unibank
Select mall branches will be open until 2 p.m., while online services will remain operational. Complete list of open branches available here.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank)
Some branches will be closed, while others will have shortened banking hours. List of closed branches available here.
Security Bank Corp.
All branches will be closed. Clients can call the customer service hotline or visit the social media accounts for concerns.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) earlier said employees who will report to work on special non-working days in February are entitled to premier pay.
