Budget carrier Cebu Pacific is set to ramp up flights from Manila and Cebu to Singapore starting next month, as it seeks to expand its international routes moving forward.
Cebu Pacific said it will add a morning schedule for Manila-Singapore flights starting July 1. The departing flight from Manila will be at 5:35 a.m. and return from Changi at 10:15 a.m.
It will also restart the Cebu-Singapore route on July 15, with three flights a week. The departing flight will leave at 11:05 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and return from Changi at 4 a.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
“We know majority of the traveling public have been looking forward to travel internationally again, especially since a lot of countries have eased their restrictions,” Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer Xander Lao said in an emailed advisory.
“We continue to work towards the expansion of our international network while we maintain operating over 100% of our pre-pandemic domestic capacity,” he added.
The carrier noted that travelers flying to Singapore no longer need to submit a pre-departure COVID-19 test, but must submit proof of full vaccination and fill out a Singapore Arrival card three days before their arrival.
Shares in Cebu Air Inc. closed Tuesday down by P0.65 or 1.50% at P42.55 apiece. —VBL, GMA News
