Cebu Pacific has launched a new route from Manila to Camiguin, the budget carrier said Monday.
Flights between Manila and the island province depart from Manila at 11:30 a.m. and depart from Camiguin at 2:20 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays via Ceb-Go’s 78-seater ATR 72-600 aircraft.
Flight tickets to Camiguin are available for as low as P88 base fare until Dec. 15, for travel until Dec. 31.
Camiguin requires visitors to upload proof of confirmed booking from LGU-accredited establishments or clearance from a Municipal Health Office if staying in a private home.
Partially vaccinated minors aged 12-17 are allowed entry, as well as unvaccinated children aged 11 and under if accompanied by fully vaccinated adults.
“We are optimistic that the direct flights will bring more visitors to Camiguin and help boost tourism and invigorate the local economy. We share the goal of safe and responsible tourism, which should help the recovery, not only of the province, but the entire region,” said Camiguin Governor Jurdin Jesus Romualdo. — Jiselle Anne C.
