Pump prices of gasoline will be hiked while those of diesel and kerosene will be rolled back this week, along with the lower adjustment of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.75, and roll back diesel by P0.60, and kerosene by P0.75.
Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 8:01 a.m. the same day.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week.
The latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P18.90 per liter for gasoline, P32.95 per liter for diesel, and P28.05 per liter for kerosene as of July 26, 2022.

Oil firms also announced a lower adjustment in LPG prices, marking the fourth straight month of rollbacks.
Petron Corp. will cut down LPG prices by P2.05 per kilogram, and AutoLPG prices by P1.15 per liter effective 12 a.m. on Tuesday.
Household LPG prices in Metro Manila were estimated to have ranged from P836.04 to P1,022.60 per 11-kilogram cylinder as of July 1, 2022, based on DOE data.—AOL, GMA News
